The second edition of Poultry Africa Expo opened yesterday in Kigali, Rwanda and presented 128 exhibiting companies from 29 countries at the KCC. The leadership Conference by VIV and partners united directors in African poultry ,setting goals for the future development of this valuable sector .The event attracted on it first 2 days 1107 visitors .Today the show proceeds with unique activities ,including a session dedicated to ‘’Egg promotion’’ with live cooking in the afternoon and morning seminar focusing on ‘Woman in poultry ‘.

First two editions confirm the show ‘s strong development

During the first 2 editions the event has positioned itself as the most complete exhibition for Africa. Providing a valuable and business -driven environment where African and global players have shared the knowledge, strengthened regional partnerships and initiated promising business relations. Kigali has been the perfect destination to establish this international event for Africa. It’s a first-class place for professional trade shows. The support by the national Government and the related network of organisations and associations has made a true difference and deserves a big ‘Thank You’!

Kenya: the new destination for Poultry Africa 3rd edition

East Africa is key production and consumption market for poultry and eggs in the continent. Kenya presents and advanced supply chain driven by professional retailers. Easily accessible by air from Europe and highly affordable to fly into with Africa, Nairobi is going to host the third edition of Poultry Africa.

A yearly appointment from 2020

Serving Sub-Saharan Africa, Poultry Africa will travel yearly to different destinations around the region. The event will return to the beautiful city of Kigali in alternation with the fast-growing markets of feed production, farming and food processing in Africa.

Moreover, African mid-size poultry and egg producers prefer to meet suppliers within their own country. With a low-cost and hassle-free trade show concept the show enables suppliers to be present annually at a premium show a small budget.

3rd edition show profile: Content -driven event

The third edition of Poultry Africa will take place on the 20 and 21-22 October 2020, in Nairobi at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). On the 19th of October there will be VIV International Production & Processing Summit day, including the ‘Pan-African trade Chapter ‘presented by VIV worldwide and involving high end speakers from the global organisations.

Country pavilions from France, China, Holland and USA will be organized at the Poultry Africa 2020 together with NGOs and Associations. The 2 days expo will address the best practices and several field and farm ‘safaris’

Poultry Africa expects to welcome more than 2000 professional visitors of which 40% international poultry professionals from East, West and North Africa ,Nutritionists ,vets and food manufactures are the main target profiles for this event.
