The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Zambia have officially informed the organizers of the AgriTech Expo Zambia that was to take place from 2-4 April 2020 at the GART Research Center in Chisamba Zambia to postpone the event.
The organizers will announce the new dates for the exhibition soon.
The Coronavirus outbreak is now a global pandemic
according to the WHO. This has alerted all countries to take urgent
precautionary actions.
Dr. Lars Huf Deputy Managing Director of DLG International GmbH and Project
Lead of AgriTech Expo Zambia said: The safety and wellbeing of all our
stakeholders is of paramount importance to us. We had been monitoring the
situation closely and as soon as we received an official communication from the
Ministry of Health of the Republic of Zambia to postpone the event we took the
necessary steps.
By rescheduling the exhibition we are confident that we can deliver AgriTech Expo Zambia to our international standard and maximize business opportunities to all parties. He added.:
