New Holland Agriculture, a brand of CNH Industrial, has organized today a press conference to announce the opening of a direct branch to distribute and support its products and services directly in South Africa. The objective of this change is to focus on the business in this territory, provide customers with the best all-round support and focus on right products that are specific to meet customers’ needs.
To ensure that its distributors and customers receive the best and timeous service, New Holland Agriculture has recently opened a new branch office in Centurion. The plan is to manage all Southern Africa countries directly and exclusively from the branch in Johannesburg: Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Namibia in the near future.
New Holland Agriculture currently can count on 17 dealers within South Africa who provide after sale service and support for tractors and combines. New Holland is a full line agricultural equipment brand, a farming generalist with a complete offering to meet the conditions and the needs of the farmers specifically operating in this area with the right products and industry leading solutions.
During the Press conference, Carlo Lambro, Brand President of New Holland Agriculture explained the leading role of the brand in building the future of agriculture underlining how the company is committed in building a new path in South Africa through innovations, advanced technology, appropriate mechanization, professional support, and expertise in agricultural practices.
The Press conference ended with a final focus on how the company will drive this new commitment in the area by Federico Bellotto, Business Director of South Africa.

Federico Bellotto: Business Director South Africa, New Holland Agricultural Equipment
Federico Bellotto joined New Holland Agriculture in 2005. He took on the position of Business Director for southern Africa and the responsibility of the South African branch in December 2016.
Federico Bellotto comes from a position of Business director for Africa and Middle East and previously had the responsibility of European importers.
Federico Bellotto has previous experience in the spare parts business. Federico Bellotto brings extensive experience from the Europe and Africa and Middle East Regions.
Federico Belloto holds a degree on Political Sciences from the University of Pisa.
Carlo Lambro was appointed Vice President New Holland Agriculture EMEA in January 2013. In September 2013 he became Brand President of New Holland Agricultural Equipment, and also joined the Group Executive Council of CNH Industrial.
Mr. Lambro joined the New Holland Agriculture brand more than 25 years ago. Throughout his career he gained extensive, commercial experience in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. As such, he was appointed as Sales Manager New Holland Brand Portugal in 1993. In 1994, he assumed commercial responsibility for all Eastern Europe countries and became Business Director for CIS area, China and Far East in 1999. One year later he was appointed Business Director for Russia and CIS, with responsibility for all agricultural brands within the Fiat Group.
In 2004, Mr. Lambro was appointed General Manager of Shanghai New Holland Agriculture Machine Corporation in addition to his responsibilities as CNH Country Manager for China.
Mr. Lambro holds a Master degree of Agrarian Sciences from the University of Bologna.
Alessandro Maritano holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Turin and joined New Holland in 1997.
New Holland Agriculture announced the appointment of Alessandro Maritano to the role of Vice President New Holland Agriculture EMEA in February 2017. He comes from his position as the brand’s Vice President in Latin America, which he has held for the past five years.
Alessandro Maritano brings to his new role also the experience and expertise to meet EMEA markets challenges through a proven record of operational leadership, business and development management gained in his previous positions in the brand’s Sales, Marketing and Services organisations for the EMEA region. In these roles he had been responsible as Business Director for various markets, including Italy, Poland and Eastern European importer countries.
